75th Battle of Britain Flypast

The day started out with a poor weather forecast but turned out a reasonable day.
Meeting up with Will and Lee on the tarmac at Ardmore airfield we started the process of shooting the aircraft which were lined up starting for me being the P.51 and a couple of Harvards.

Next came the Pilots after their briefing prepping the aircraft and completing propeller rotations
moving into flight configuration.

A day at Western Springs

Still getting to grips with the D750,  messing around the the Auto focus  I have found the             Group- Area AF to be outstanding, well to what I am used to that is.

I met up with Will M  who had purchased an nice and shiny 70-200 - 2.8 red band for his                Mk 7D-mk 2 including 1.4 converter, We had decided earlier in the week to get out and put a little mileage on the gear and practice.  was a good day out.

The D750 is a nice camera but still a little shy in the buffer department when shooting in raw.
Wills 7D mk 2  is a beast when it comes to the buffer, push the button, read the news paper while on the throne finish up and the thing would still be firing away.

Anyway a few pics of the days outing,
